The ezfone story began in 1999 with the opening of E-Z Pager in New London, CT. The E-Z Pager Guys started out as authorized retailers of PageNet (later Arch Wireless) Paging Services. During this time the cellular industry was booming. Within a short time E-Z Pager was an Authorized Dealer for Omni Point (later Voice Stream, and then T-mobile), Sprint PCS, Nextel, MCI, and AT&T(before it became Cingular).There model was not to push any particular carrier to a customer, but to custom fit a customer to a carrier.

The Guys at E-Z Pager realized that the majority of their customers had sub-prime credit, so they worked on putting together all of the best pre-paid cellular services available. In the same fashion they offered there customers with the best pre-paid service that fits there needs.

Until today, E-Z Pager is still located at 611 Bank Street in New London, CT. They continue to offer the same service, but are solely pre-paid dealers now. All of the latest pre-paid carriers can be found there. One pre-paid carrier stood out above the rest, and that's boostmobile (spin-off from Nextel).

boostmobile is the fastest growing pre-paid carrier today, but was held back by not having a street presence. That's how ezfone was born. The E-Z Pager Guys partnered up with boostmobile to launch an exclusive boostmobile retail store. ezfone opened it's doors on December 4, 2009, located on 474 Colman Street, in New London, CT. ezfone solely sells boostmobile phones and plans, as wells as accessories for all cell phones no matter which carrier. ezfone continues to provide the same E-Z Pager customer service, and years of cellular knowledge.
